Our cow project has proven to be a valuable source of income and nutrition for the school. The daily sale of milk generates revenue, and the milk is also used to enhance the nutritional value of the porridge we serve our students. At present, three of our cows are pregnant, and we expect their births later this year, which will increase milk production.
We are planning to introduce two heifers as soon as funding permits, as this project has great potential for further growth. In addition to its financial benefits, it also serves as an educational tool, teaching students about sustainable farming and how to raise productive livestock in limited space, an important skill in fighting poverty.
